⭐ We’ve Been Awarded a 5-Star Food Hygiene Rating!
We are absolutely delighted to share some wonderful news with our nursery family. Following our recent unannounced inspection by the Environmental Health Officer (EHO), our nursery has been awarded the highest possible rating of 5 Stars for food hygiene. 🌟
For us, this is so much more than a certificate on the wall. It is an independent stamp of approval that confirms what we work hard to deliver every single day — safe, nutritious, and lovingly prepared meals for all of the children in our care.
🍽️ What the 5-Star Rating Means
The Food Hygiene Rating Scheme is run by the Food Standards Agency, and ratings range from 0 to 5. A top rating of 5 means that food hygiene standards are considered “very good.” During the inspection, the Environmental Health Officer looked closely at three key areas:
- How food is prepared, cooked, cooled, and stored — making sure every meal is handled safely from start to finish.
- The cleanliness and condition of our kitchen and facilities — ensuring our environment meets the highest standards.
- How we manage and record food safety — demonstrating that good practice is built into our daily routines, not just kept for inspection day.
Achieving the maximum score across all of these areas is a fantastic result, and one we are incredibly proud of.

Their attention to detail and genuine commitment to the children’s wellbeing shines through in everything they do, and this rating is very much theirs to celebrate.
